Flash Flood Affects Buena Vista Villagers

In the west, flash floods also affected the area near Iguana Creek where the water was rising.  Near the village of Buena Vista Village, roads there were rendered impassable by the flow of rushing waters. A resident of the area, Ramon Quiroz, provided us footage of the situation there this morning as the rising waters disconnected villages.

“Here is a closer view to the access road or the access bridge towards Buena Vista Village totally impassable, inaccessible in this hour in the morning. As you can see flooding went really high during the course of the night and it is totally inaccessible at this hour.  Water continues to pour and the level continues to rise as there is no access to any village from Buena Vista, La Garcia, Yalbac circulating to Valley of Peace. No access at this point in time.”
