Happy Father’s Day from Opposition Leader

This coming Sunday, fathers will be honoured in a number of ways with cook-outs, cards, gifts and other forms. Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday in June and much like Mother’s Day; it is an opportunity to shower fathers around the world with love. It is not a public holiday but it is an occasion to mark and celebrate the contribution that your father has made to your life. P.U.P. Leader John Briceño says that the role that a father plays is very important and must be appreciated.

“I want to take the opportunity to wish all the fathers across the length and breadth of this country, even some mothers who play the role of fathers, happy fathers and that we cherish the work that they do. I wish mine would be here that I can hug him and tell him how much I love him. So to all those who have their fathers please hug them, kiss them and tell them how much you love them.”
