Miss Middle Age Pageant held

This is not only a time for carnival and jump up, but many young ladies look forward to the September celebrations so they can compete in the many pageants that normally take place around this time of the year. This past weekend six ladies contested for the title of Miss Middle Age Cayo. Kent Pandy of SEN T.V captured the following highlights.

The pageant, which was held at the Novelo’s Convention Centre was well attended. The ladies were judged on talent, performance, presentation and overall stage presence. While all the ladies did their best to win high marks from the audience and judges there could only be one winner. Jeanette Graham captured first place while Janet Tillett and Martina Montejo came in second and third respectively.

On Sunday night, the contestants vying for the Queen of the Bay Pageant will be officially introduced at a sashing ceremony scheduled to take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Bellevue Hotel.
