Months after His Passing, a Memorial Service is Held for Hubert Pipersburgh
Today, a funeral and memorial service took place to celebrate the life of Hubert Pipersburgh. This afternoon, at the Sacred Heart Church in San Ignacio, Cayo, family and friends gathered to officially say their goodbyes to the Pipersburgh who was the first of two persons to succumb in Belize, to complications associated with deadly COVID-19. Pipersburgh died on April fifth at age fifty-six and at the time was employed with the Belize City Council in the local economic development department. Councillor Javier Castellanos today told News Five that the mayor along with a number of councillors and staff were attending the memorial service.

“The workshop we are doing is in memory of Mister Pipersburgh. Also today, the mayor and most of the councillors will be in Cayo where they will have the memorial for Mister Pipersburgh today.”
