Building society gives away house

To celebrate its one-year anniversary, St. James National Building Society is going to give away a house to one of its members. The society will be holding an open house at the site of the newly built bungalow in the Belama Phase Three area. St. James’ Frank Ramclam was proud to give us the details.

“The house is a special promotion. It’s in order to promote our savings program that we are offering at St. James. We are offering 7.75 percent per annum on local savings and 8.75 on CD’s, cash deposits, whether it is for the term of six months or a year. For every hundred dollars that you deposit in your savings, we are giving a special offer by giving a raffle ticket and a chance to win this magnificent house, fence, lot and everything, which will be raffled tomorrow the twenty-ninth at two o’clock. It’s going to be an all day event from 9:00 till 2:00 and you can come out and look at the house, see what St. James has to offer, whether it be financing, savings, or construction of the house. The public is welcome to come out, we are advertising and everybody is welcomed to come out.”

The house is located at number 3046 Belama Phase Three Extension. All you have to do is follow the arrows placed on the side of the road until you meet St. James and possibly, your new home. Deposits will be accepted on the site right up until the drawing of the lucky ticket.
