Marijuana plantation destroyed
An anti-drug operation in the Orange Walk District has resulted in the shutting down of a major marijuana plantation. Between 5:00 and 7:00 Thursday morning, police raided an area near San Carlos Village and discovered a field they say contained ten thousand cannabis trees between four and five feet in height. The weed was destroyed and a twenty-eight year old labourer of Indian Church Village, Evalio Campos, was arrested.
