Toledo suicide may have been murder
It was initially reported as a suicide but family members are having second thoughts. Last Thursday, police reported that the lifeless body of thirty-four year old Kevin Coleman was found hanging from a rope in his girlfriend’s house in Forest Home village. A post mortem revealed that Coleman died from asphyxia due to hanging and he was buried. Now family members say that the evidence indicates he may have been murdered. That evidence includes reports that Coleman had a number of enemies and had received several threats prior to his death. It is also alleged that he was not found hanging from the rope but was in fact seated and the rope was slack. This indicates, according to family members, that Coleman was choked to death and his body then arranged to make it appear like a suicide. It is understood that police have reopened the investigation and are questioning a number of people. A memorial mass for Kevin Coleman will be held on Friday at the Novitiate Nazareth Church in Forest Home.
