“Amigos” gives prison donation
It seems that the Department of Correction does have some friends, and the good kind, the ones who come bearing gifts. Representatives of Amigos International, a volunteer organization out of the US, has presented clothes, books, medical supplies, a welding machine and a public address system to prison governor Bernard Adolphus. This is not the first time “Amigos” has made a donation to the prison and this latest gift is intended to help educate the inmates as well as prepare them for reentry to society.
