Man charged in chopping
Tonight a Belize City man is in custody after a chopping incident on Saturday night. Police have arrested and charged 22-year old Herman Good with wounding and attempted murder. It is alleged that around midnight on Saturday, Good walked into 45-year old Denfield Lemott’s yard on Berry Street and attacked him with a machete. Lemott sustained wounds to the left side of his head and remains at the KHMH in stable condition. Police say the two have had disagreements in the past.
