Boots Gets Tongue-lashing in Pickstock
Outgoing Port Loyola Area Representative Anthony ‘Boots’ Martinez was out on the campaign trail in the Pickstock Division where he is set to succeed Wilfred ‘Sedi’ Elrington as the U.D.P.’s candidate ahead of the upcoming general elections. But things got out of hand for Boots. While doing his rounds in the area, Martinez got into a heated verbal exchange with a constituent, which resulted in a shooting match of expletives between him and the constituent. The reports say that the incident was triggered by the transfer of voters into the division. The entire incident was caught on camera and is being circulated on social media showing the visibly irate woman as she proceeded to give Martinez a sound tongue-lashing before entering his vehicle to leave the area. As you would recall, Martinez had announced his retirement from electoral politics, however, with the void being left in the wake of Elrington’s departure, he has tossed his hat in the ring to contest the division against PUP Standard Bearer Anthony Mahler.
