Prisoner escapes for second time in 2 weeks
The last time he escaped, his family brought him back to jail…so you can bet this time around, he won’t be rushing home. That’s right, for the second time this month, inmate Alvin Lopez has managed to escape from custody. Lopez was part of the 8-man contingent that jumped over the fence at Hattieville on June 5th but two days later his family prevailed upon him to rethink his position. That mindset didn’t last long because on Wednesday of this week, Lopez got the itch again. According to police reports, the ailing inmate was taken to the KHMH for an x-ray but when members of the hospital staff tried to conduct the exam, he got hot feet and bolted out the door. So far police and prison authorities have yet to find him. His family might leave the yard light on but if you’ve seen Alvin Lopez, please contact the nearest police station.
