Havana Store Robbed in Dangriga

Havana Store in Dangriga was held up on Thursday night by a pistol-toting robber and an accomplice who relieved an Asian businessman of an undisclosed sum of money.  The incident happened sometime around seven p.m. while other customers were inside the establishment making purchases.  The gunman is heard saying “rapido, rapido” and as seen on surveillance footage retrieved from the store, the gunman concealed his face with a blue bandana, his head covered by a warm cap.  He immediately takes hold of a patron standing in front of the cashier and proceeds to relieve another customer of his money.  This morning, an eyewitness recounted the incident during which a single shot was fired as the robbers exited the store.
