The Invoices of Brian “Yellow Man” Audinett

The fleecing of the government: leaked document show a substantial sum of money paid to the macebearer, Brian Audinett, also known as Yellow Man.  Audinett is a well-known sympathizer of the government who has held the post of macebearer of the House since 2008. Up until November 2019, he was employed at the Sports Council, but was fired for allegedly not performing his duties as facility night auditor.  At the time, he went on to publicly insult the now leader elect Patrick Faber calling him all sorts of name. As that drama played out, Audinett was raking in for housing allowance and mileage. Here is a report with Hipolito Novelo.

He is the Sergeant of Arms and at the start of every Sitting of the House of Representatives Brian Audinett carries the mace and places it on the rack of the clerk’s table. The mace signifies the dignity and authority of the Speaker.  But the dignity of this macebearer has come under question.

Invoices dating back to 2010 show that Audinett was the beneficiary of several payments for home improvements, housing assistance and assistance as a “deserving case”. In November twenty-ninth 2010, documents show that he received one thousand dollars for home improvement. Another one thousand dollars that same year a month later.  In April 2011 he received eight thousand nine hundred dollars in housing assistance and a further five hundred dollars in August and a further three hundred dollars the following month, in September. Seven hundred and fifty dollars under home improvement grant was disbursed to him in November 2011 and a further one thousand dollars in December of that same year. In July 2012 he received three thousand five hundred dollars. The following month he received one thousand five hundred dollars for home improvement and further four thousand five hundred dollars four months later, in December. The home improvement payments continued in 2013 with six thousand dollars disbursed in July. There is another payment, this time two thousand six hundred dollars for home improvement. There is also a payment of one thousand five hundred dollars labeled “assistance to deserving case”. Throughout the years more payments are made including one in December 2015 for three thousand seven hundred dollars, another in July 2016 for four hundred dollars and in February 2018 for one thousand five hundred dollars. Twenty-eight payments totaling fifty-thousand five hundred dollars for the macebearer, for a staunch U.D.P. supporter, for Yellow Man. Reporting for News Five, I am Hipolito Novelo.

The leaked documents also show that the macebearer received one hundred and sixty-five dollars each time he travelled to Belmopan in respect of House and committee meetings. These payments amounted to fourteen thousand dollars.
