Yo Creek Chopping Leaves 1 Man Critical
One man is in the hospital following a chopping incident in Yo Creek Village. Police say that sometime around two on Sunday morning Emmanuel Garcia visited the home of another man and they were socializing when they got into an argument. Garcia sustained chop wounds that landed him in the hospital in a critical condition.

“Sometime around two-thirty a.m., police responded to a chopping incident by first visiting the northern regional hospital where they observed Emmanuel Garcia, other particulars unknown at this time, with apparent chop wounds. He was attended to and was later transported to the Karl Huesner Memorial Hospital where he remains in a critical condition. What we know so far is that Garcia was socializing at the home of twenty-eight-year-old Ancelmo Eguizabal Yo Creek Village when they got into an altercation resulting in Eguizabal inflicting those injuries with a machete which has also since been recovered by officers. Eguizabal is in custody at this time pending that investigation.”
