Belize City Woman Robbed at Gunpoint

A Belize City woman reported to police that she was held up at gunpoint and robbed of her personal belongings in Belize City. Police say that the woman was in a vehicle near the seaside by the Bliss Institute when the incident happened.

“On Sunday, Emiliana Ayuso reported that she was in a vehicle near the Bliss Institute by the sea side when she was approached by a male person who pointed a handgun at her and demanded that she handed over her properties. The person took away her purse containing an undisclosed amount of cash; cell-phone and other personal belongings. The male person then rode away and made good his escape.”

Police say that they don’t have any suspects.
