Two arrested in gas station robbery
Two men suspected of robbing Nava’s Gas Station on North Front Street last Wednesday were today arrested and charged. 28-year old Kenrick Gill and 20-year old Brandon Anderson of Belize City have been charged with three counts of armed robbery. Last week the station’s manager reported to police that on April 19th, two masked men, armed with a 16-gauge shotgun, came on the premises and demanded money. The woman says the men placed the gun to her daughter’s head and told her that if they didn’t get what they wanted, they would shoot her. The woman complied and the men escaped with $500 in cash and $800 in jewelry. The gun used in the hold-up was recovered by police shortly after the incident.
