Safiyyah finds the groovy places to chill for the weekend

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is What’s Happening Belize.

This Friday Elegance will be presenting a very special French Kiss called Noche Latina featuring DJ Super Mario from Estereo Amor as well as Tagg International and Belizean Movements.

On Saturday Night there will be a party called threesome inside Palm Island. this will feature Madd Squad, New Wave and Tagg International.

On Sunday the Holy Ghost Church in Esperanza is inviting all other churches out to their Harvest of Thanksgiving. This will be held in Esperanza and will begin at twp p.m.

If you enjoyed the Mexican Film Festival last week then you might want to check out “Wednesdays at the Movies”, films brought to you through the collaboration of the Embassy of Mexico and NICH. This week’s film is “Vicky Christina Barcelona” and will be screened at the Institute of Mexico in Belize at seven p.m. The entrance is free.

Next week Thursday the student government of UB will be having a Halloween bash called “Scream”. This bash will be held inside the Barrio Fino Sports Bar. The party will run from nine p.m. until four a.m. Music will be provided by Cloud Nine and DJ Tigga. Entrance is ten dollars with student ID and fifteen dollars without. They will be giving out prizes for the best costumes. There will also be an appearance by Bobby Chin and Willy Chin of Black Chiney.

You all know next weekend is Halloween and there are be plenty of activities to do. Like the Halloween Rock Bash being held inside Cub Benque Rock, featuring DJs Sonido Majico from Guatemala. Also DJ Richie, Super Mario and DJ Base. I’ll give more info on that later. Come on guys you have a whole week, to find a costume, make a costume or just do the make-up get into the spirit and have a little fun next week. You have all this weekend to prepare. Have fun, Bye.
