Was Vehicle Set on Fire on Banak Street?

Police are investigating a vehicle that was discovered engulfed in flames on Banak Street in Belize City. Police say that Sheldon Meighan who resides on Banak Street parked the vehicle on Saturday night and around eleven that night it was seen on fire.

“Police responded to a vehicle fire on Banak Street in Belize City. Upon their arrival, they observed a Chevy Blazer vehicle engulfed in flames and fire department personnel were called to extinguish the fire. The vehicle received damages to the front portion which was burnt. Information is that that the vehicle was parked there around eight p.m. and thereafter an explosion was hear and the vehicle was seen engulfed in flames.”

“Do you suspect arson, sir?”

“This time, we will await the report from the fire department to try to determine what occurred with the vehicle. An explosion was heard and then the vehicle was seen on fire.”
