Woman raped by taxi driver
Also in the wee hours of Sunday morning a 30-year old Belize City woman reports that she was raped. According to a police release she boarded a taxi around 2:30 in front of Lodge Hall on Regent Street West. Instead of taking her home as requested, the driver took her to a house on Central American Boulevard where he beat and raped her at knifepoint. At newstime no arrest had been made.
