Investigation into Teenager’s Murder Continues; No Arrests Made!
Last week, we told you about sixteen-year-old Gregory Lewis who was killed in Santa Ignacio on election night. A Special Constable came across an injured Lewis on Bullet Tree Road and rushed him to the hospital but the teenager died shortly after. Police say he was able to share information about the man who attacked him but while the man has been questioned he hasn’t been charged. We asked ACP Joseph Myvett for an update into the investigation today.
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
“The investigation is still ongoing in respect to the sixteen-year-old minor Gregory Lewis. Police have detained several persons and we are following several leads in relation to that investigation. He did provide some information whilst he was still conscious before undergoing treatment where he later passed away. Those are some of the issues the police are working on at this point in time.”
