Teenager drowns in Cayo
A teenage boy has drowned in the Cayo District. On Sunday afternoon, 15 year old Vitalino Mendez of Selena Village was swimming in the Belize River near Spanish Lookout when, according to his father, he suddenly went under the water and never came up. After over an hour of searching, his lifeless body was discovered nearby. It has been taken to the San Ignacio Hospital where a post mortem will be conducted.
