Charles Young Narrowly Escapes Attempt on His Life in City Shooting

Earlier today, Scenes of Crime personnel processed the scene of a late afternoon shooting that took place near the intersection of Western Avenue and Ordonez Street in Belize City. The victim, who survived the brazen attempt on his life, is identified as Charles Young Jr. who escaped with only superficial injuries. Multiple shots were reportedly fired at him, but we understand that he was grazed once to the centre of the back and upper arm. He is hospitalized at the K.H.M.H. where he is presently receiving medical attention.
