Escapee’s girlfriend charged with obstruction

She not only stood by her man but actually fought for him. The only problem was that the man she defended was an escaped prisoner and now she runs the risk of joining him in Hattieville. Today 22-year-old Natalie Wade was arrested and charged with the crimes of harbouring a fugitive, obstructing a police officer, using indecent words, resisting arrest and aggravated assault. The charges arose from an incident on Tuesday in which police captured her boyfriend, Darrel “Bagga” Jones. It is alleged that Wade attacked the police in an effort to help Jones escape. He was finally subdued by a police gunshot to his backside.
