Verna Abrahams, dead at 57
If you are old enough to have been a customer of the Royal Bank of Canada, prior to its transformation into the Belize Bank, chances are you knew her. Verna Abrahams, nee Gibson joined the bank in February of 1963 and rose to the post of Vice President of Operations. We regret to announce that last Wednesday Verna died in Miami after a long struggle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Clive Abrahams and seven brothers. Plans are being made for a memorial service in the near future. Verna Abrahams was 57 years old.
