An update on officers involved in capsized skiff
On Thursday, we reported on the tragedy that was averted at sea when a vessel carrying two coast guard petty officers and three law enforcement officers capsized somewhere in the Belize Harbor and they were rescued by a fishing vessel. As we had shared, two of the officers were taken to the hospital. Today we asked Commander Gregory Soberanis for an update on the status of the officers. He says the petty officer remains hospitalized with twenty percent fuel burns to the body.
