Bus passengers arrested for attacking conductor
In Police news, three men were picked up and detained by police today after they reportedly attacked a bus conductor on Tuesday. Guadalupe Tzib reported that three passengers aboard a Novelo’s bus heading for San Ignacio refused to pay their fare when the bus stopped near Roaring Creek. Tzib said when he tried to collect; they hit him and tried to push him out of the bus. Several passengers tried to help, but the men jumped off the bus and ran. Police picked them up this morning, pending charges tomorrow.
