Escapees recaptured

While the staff at the prison tried today to get the situation under control, on Thursday the police were able to capture two escaped prisoners. Andrew Kelly, 24 and Terry Reyes, 19, were captured in a police raid that afternoon. Kelly was found near his home on Pelican Street Extension, while Reyes was found around mile three on the Western Highway. Early Tuesday morning, the 14th, Reyes and Kelly, along with 24 year old Salva Carballo and 22 year old Jason Flowers, escaped from their cell in the maximum-security section in the Hattieville Correctional Facility using a hacksaw blade. Salva Carballo and Jason Flowers were recaptured in Hattieville the same day. Reyes had been serving 20 years for Murder, while Kelly had been remanded for Murder and was serving two years for Contempt of Court. Flowers was serving 10 years for Dangerous Harm and Salva Carballo had been remanded for Robbery.
