Ashcroft Foundation assists more libraries

Five more primary schools will be equipped with new libraries, as the Michael A. Ashcroft Foundation launched the second phase of its Library and Literary Programme for Belizean Children. The schools which are receiving financial support are Hattieville Government School, Ladyville Evangelical School, Bethel Primary, San Martin Roman Catholic School in Belmopan and the Lake Independence Community Center. Ten schools were included in phase one and phase three will be implemented later this year. Schools which are interested in joining the third phase, should contact the Vice-Principal of Teachers’ College, Erlindo Pech. The Michael A. Ashcroft Foundation has also provided 13 high schools with computers.
