Cyclist hit by two cars
In another incident on Saturday night a man on a bicycle was hit first by one car and then run over by another. Linsford Rosado told police he was heading into Belize City from Belama Phase Two sometime before 10:30pm when Elias Perez, who was riding his bike in the same direction, suddenly cut in front of him to make a left turn. Perez was hit by the front of Rosado’s car and then the vehicle directly behind Rosado’s ran over him. Perez was rushed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with head and body injuries. His condition is described as serious.
