Inmates and officer charged for drugs at YEA
A Prison Officer and two inmates from the Department of Corrections have been charged with drug trafficking after an incident Thursday at the Youth Enhancement Academy. During an anti-drug operation at YEA, prison officials reported seeing the inmates, 28 year old Robert Liang and 40 year old Leonardo Caretello picking up a bag and taking it to Prison Officer Derek Pinks. About a pound and a half of marijuana was found in the bag. Liang, Caretello and Pinks were arrested and charged.
