Cayo man charged for drug rape
A 29 year old man from Santa Elena Cayo, Mark Hyde has been charged with rape and indecent assault following accusations that he drugged a young woman and raped her on the nineteenth of February. The woman told police she accepted a drink from Hyde at Legend 2000 nightclub in Santa Elena Town, and the next thing she remembers is waking up to find she was being raped. She was unable to resist because her body was numb and heavy. She says she woke up later in a pick up truck and Hyde then took her home.
