Salvadorian National knocked down and killed by taxi
And up north, a man lost his life—also on the road—after he was knocked off his bike on Friday night. He has been identified as forty-two year old Francisco Garcia Villanueva, a Salvadoran national living in Paraiso Village. According to twenty-eight year old Elsner Manzanilla, the traffic mishap happened when he was driving his taxi on the Santa Rita Road and Garcia rode his bike into his path and he hit him. Garcia was transported to the Corozal Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police are investigating to see whether charges will be filed against Manzanilla.
