Safiyyah knows where to find entertainment this weekend

The weekend is just getting underway and there are activities around town that provides great fun and relaxation. Safiyyah has the scoop on the upcoming events for weekend.

Hey I’m Safiyyah and this is what’s happening Belize?

Inside the bliss tonight there will be a Lyrical Combat poetry slam. This is being held in order to help raise funds for an E.P Yorke student that was involved in an accident. So if you enjoy poetry, you can go out and support a worthy cause.

The Radisson is inviting everyone out their premium wines and spirits happy hour tonight. This will be held inside the Baymen’s Tavern, located inside the hotel grounds. They’re promising you a cool and friendly ambience that you can enjoy after work with your friends.

Hopkins village will be having their fifth annual kite fest this Saturday. This day of fun will includes free lessons on kites for the children all day long and kite flying competitions in the evening time. Prizes will be given for biggest kite and the kite that soars the highest. There will be lots to eat and drink all day. So if you’re near Hopkins village this Saturday, you should check that out.

On Sunday there will be a show call Dances We Dance inside the Bliss at six p.m. There will be modern, classic, contemporary and folk dance performances. This is a show that you can take out the entire family. So head out to the bliss this Sunday and enjoy the show.

And make sure you guys check out Pallotti High School’s Campus Darling Pageant tonight. This pageant will be held inside the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall and will begin at seven p.m. Everyone is invited to come and check it out. I will be there as one of the judges and I can’t wait to see the show. So come out tonight and enjoy the Pageant.
