“Are you all a team of sacrificial lambs?”
Orson Picart
“There is no team of sacrificial lambs – myself and my councilor candidates we wanted this opportunity to serve the people of Belize City and because we have been granted that opportunity and made official today we will continue to consult with the people of Belize City, the residents, and come March third we will deliver a victory for the United Democratic Party.”
Shane Williams, U.D.P. Councilor Candidate, Belize City
“This is a proud moment for myself; a proud moment for my family; this is a proud moment for my community. So, I am coming all out. It is not everyday somebody from Kraal Road comes and get nominated for city council so this is a big day for us.”

“You all would be starved because the P.U.P. in Belmopan can’t help you and won’t help you?”
Shane Williams
“The City Council is still collecting trade license; property taxes; the long and short of it – the city council can sustain itself and all it takes is for you to channel the resources where it is supposed to go. And we will get back the resources into the community; we will build streets; hire individuals from the community ensure that we are building back the city together.”
