Man charged in last week?s Belize City shooting
A man wanted in connection with a shooting on Central American Boulevard has been arrested. Deshawn Nunez has been charged with attempted murder, use of deadly means of harm and grievous harm in connection with the shooting of Mark Banner on the seventeenth of January. Banner alleges that Nunez approached him at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Banak Street with a shotgun. Banner told police he ran and Nunez caught up with him at the Pound Yard Bridge Taxi stand and allegedly shot him in the shoulder. Banner was treated at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital and later release.
