Jason Sanchez Murder Trial Enters Voir Dire
The trial of accused murder Jason Sanchez got underway this week and just as quickly, it entered into a closed session called a voir dire. This is to determine whether the trial judge, Justice Herbert Lord, can permit the admissibility of a statement as part of the evidence in the trial itself. Sanchez is charged for the shooting death of Emerson Arnold a Belize Water Service employee seven years ago. Arnold, who was related to George Street affiliate Carlos “Zimbab” Abraham, was killed on the morning of November twenty-eighth, 2014 while he was heading to his work.
