Premium Gas Climbs Again; Nears $12 per Gallon
In the seemingly unrelenting gas price increases, Belizean consumers are being told once more by the Ministry of Finance that prices are going up. Today, they announced premium gasoline is having its biggest jump yet: one dollar and twenty-four cents per gallon. The new price, effective Tuesday, March twenty-third, will now be almost twelve dollars a gallon, at eleven dollars and sixty-four cents. The spike follows steady increases over the past few days, including a rise in diesel by a whopping eight-six cents already this month.
