Meet the New Taiwanese Ambassador to Belize
The new Ambassador to Belize for the Republic of China (Taiwan) has presented his credentials to Governor General Sir Colville Young. Ambassador David Kuan-Chou Chien conveyed greetings from the President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen and pledged to continue promoting the mutual interests and cooperation between our countries. The Governor General welcomed the new ambassador and noted that Taiwan has long been a staunch friend and supporter of Belize’s development. Belize and Taiwan established bilateral relations in 1989.
