Former bank employee facing 34 counts of Theft
He was charged with Theft and released… and just when twenty-one year old William Steven, former bank employee, thought he was home free, the cops took him back in. Joy Flowers, manager of Caye International Bank Limited in San Pedro, initially made a complaint of theft against Steven on October sixteenth, 2007. He was arrested and charged, but that case was later dismissed. And on the nineteenth of this month, Flowers made another report and investigations have since determined that between April thirteenth and October fifth, 2007 a total of two hundred and fifty-four thousand twenty-eight dollars and fourteen cents were stolen from the bank. Steven, who hails from the Boca Del Rio area on the island, has been rearrested and is now facing thirty-four counts of Theft.
