Shooting victim in stable condition
One day after Oscar Rosado was shot inside his hardware store on Cemetery Road, the fifty-one year old construction supply merchant remains in a stable condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. He underwent surgery yesterday. Rosado and his wife Elena were inside the store when shortly after one Thursday afternoon, two men wearing stocking masks entered the building. Elena Rosado told police that the men demanded money and after her husband gave them five thousand dollars in cash, one of the men shot him in the back. Since the incident police have questioned a number of people but have yet to make an arrest.
