George Price featured in Caribbean magazine

A Caribbean magazine based in New York has selected one hundred people who made a significant contribution to the region over the last century. Their choice for Belize: George Price, our first Prime Minister and the man many credit for transforming British Honduras into independent Belize. Our current Senior Minister’s photo and a one-page description of how he quote, “navigated British Honduras through the constitutional changes and union organization on the road to independence” are featured. The short article from “Everybody’s Magazine” will be reproduced on the government’s webpage sometime soon. It will be supplemented by a complete biography of George Price and photos.
