…And councillors get their new portfolios

In other news from City Hall, councilors have been designated their new portfolios. Yesterday we reported that the Deputy Mayor is Dion Leslie. Leslie is also in Charge of Public Relations and Special Events; Roger Espejo is responsible for Sister City Relations, Investment and Works on the North Side; Dean Samuels will handle Works on the South Side, Urban Development and Zoning; Laura Esquivel has been designated to Municipal Courts and Culture; Leila Peyrefitte will deal with NGO’s and Civil Society; Kevin Singh gets responsibility for Markets and Security; Andrew Faber will take on Small Business Initiative and After School Programs; Eric Chang will deal with Parks and Beautification; Phillip Willoughby has been designated to Youth, Sports, and Sanitation; Wayne Usher is responsible for Traffic, Public Health and Tourism; and Mayor Zenaida Moya is in charge of Revenue, Finance and Human Resources.
