Belizean student gets C.X.C. award
A Belizean was among the high school students honored at a ceremony in Guyana earlier this month for outstanding performance on the C.X.C.s. Elder Jimenez of Sacred Heart College in the Cayo District was recognized for visual arts and crafts. His winning design was a safe toy with wheels. Three Guyanese students took the top three awards and in all seven students received awards. Elder Jimenez will be honored in Belize at a ceremony in January. Two other top ranking students from Belize are Ronald Heustis and Hershel Armstrong from Wesley College.
