LPG Prices Decrease
Turning to liquefied petroleum gas prices….a release from the Supplies Control Unit indicates the wholesale price of LPG will drop to three dollars and thirty-nine cents. This price will be reflected at LPG stations across all six districts. Retail prices in urban areas will drop to one dollar and thirteen cents per pound and four dollars and ninety-nine cents per gallon. In rural areas, retail prices will drop to one dollar and sixteen cents per pound and five dollars and nine cents per gallon. The Supplies Control Unit says the decrease seen in May is due to a lowering of the cost of imported butane and propane.
