Six Weeks and No Sign of Kim Martinez: Family Offering Reward

Chester Williams

Kim Martinez, a resident of Corozal Town, has been missing for the past six weeks.  ComPol Williams says police have viewed a disturbing video taken just days before she disappeared and detained her common law husband for questioning, but he was released.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

“I know the report has been made to the police. The police have been in search of the young lady. We have also seen the video where she has been abused the day before by her common law. Ironically, after that abuse she went missing. That is one thing the police is looking at to see if there is any connection to her disappearance and her accused abuser. You will know that we cannot sustain these searches for too long, because it takes a lot of our resources.”

To aid in the search, Kim Martinez’s family is offering a twenty-five hundred dollars award for any information that may lead to her whereabouts.
