Keisha Williams wins “Gimme Five” grand prize
Well, you can go back to answering your phone in the normal fashion because Channel Five’s “Gimme Five” birthday week is over. But it certainly was fun and hosts for the week William Neal, Neil Hall and News Five’s very own Janelle Chanona had a great time giving away a range of prizes from our faithful sponsors to some of our most faithful viewers. The big prizes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were a cellular phone from B.T.L., a stay at Chaa Creek Cottages, a round trip ticket to any city in the continental U.S. from Continental Airlines and a round trip ticket to anywhere American Airlines flies.
The “Gimme Five” birthday party grand finale was Friday night when fifteen year old Keisha Williams won a cruise for two courtesy of Discovery Expeditions with the return trip provided by American Airlines, plus five hundred dollars cash from Channel Five.

Keisha’s Mother
(on the phone) “Yes, she’s ready and she’s waiting.”
(Winner was picked up from home and brought to Channel Five.)
William Neal
“We have the winner in the lobby making her way up to the studios to collect her five hundred dollars and also her cruise for two. Her mom is coming as well. Keisha congratulations on behalf of Channel Five. How do you feel?”

“About six.”

“Come mommy, since mommy was talking the whole while. Mommy already said that she will go with you on the cruise. How did you feel? You answered the phone, true?”
Keisha’s Mother
“Yes, I did.”
Q: “Were you practicing whole night?”
Keisha’s Mother
(laughs) “I was a bit sleepy and when the phone rang, she said, “Mommy say, “Gimme Five!” or else I’ll kill you.””
William Neal
(counting money) “Janelle, let’s count it out. One… two… three… four… five.. Gimme Five!”
