Counterfeit hundred dollars found in San Pedro
Two Corozal fishermen were arrested in San Pedro when several rolls of counterfeit money were found in their pockets. Acting on a tip police picked up Arremio Wiltshire and Wilmer Amilcar Sanroya Tuesday morning on Barrier Reef Drive after a police search revealed the men had two hundred eighty-five fake one hundred dollar bills. Police are trying to determine how the bills were made and by whom. In the meantime, the two fishermen have been charged with possession of counterfeit currency.
