Two arrested for Xtra House robbery
The police have arrested two men in connection with a burglary at the Xtra House on Cemetery Road. Twenty-eight year old Errol Swift of Amara Avenue and thirty-five year old Andy Avilez of Ebony Street were today charged with burglary. The store’s owner Vinod Chawla reported the break in occurred sometime between ten Friday night and eight Saturday morning. He says over thirty-seven thousand dollars in cash and eight thousand dollars in checks, a cellular phone, electronic equipment and liquor were stolen.
