Corozal Medical Clinic Robbed: Suspects Arrested
A robbery at the Bethesda Medical Clinic in Corozal has left the staff shaken, but the alleged culprits have already being caught. Police say they responded to a robbery report at the clinic Wednesday afternoon where the administrator, Zeima Cambranes, reported that she and several staff members were held up by two men who entered the building. One was armed with a knife. The thieves made off with purses, cell phones and a computer for a total value of over four thousand dollars. Police have since recovered the phones and have arrested a sixteen-year-old minor and twenty-seven-year-old Leroy Hendriks. Both are facing robbery charges.
