Curfew Hours to Change: 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
The Government of Belize has released an updated Statutory Instrument for COVID regulations. As of Monday, July twenty-sixth, the curfew hours will move to ten p.m. to four a.m. daily. Additionally, churches in the locked down villages of Conejo, Midway and Barranco will not be allowed to operate for a period of two weeks. The S.I. also says all frontline personnel who work at a point of entry or exit of Belize must be vaccinated before they are redeployed. These changes to the COVID-19 regulations will be in effect until August fifteenth, 2021. Viewers are also reminded that minors are to remain within the confines of private property during the hours of six p.m. to four a.m., unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
